Peter Pan Complex features collage works by Alvaro Sendra González. Thematically, the pieces deal with the infantilization of young adulthood, creating a world that smells “like like cinnamon rolls, vanilla and candy, and sounds like children laughing” as someone once described Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. The UK recently extended childhood, as defined by child psychologists, to 25 years of age. This show is about the prolonged childhood within young adults.
