Spotting Birds by Rachel Ashcroft
Focusing on the relationship between man and the natural world, Rachel's new work deals with the role of the "modern" animal. Viewers, quite literally, observe the cohabitation of human and animal in the urban setting of Reuterstrasse. Using a sort of absurd theatricality, "Spotting Birds" aims to encourage a new relationship with your neighbors.
Die Arbeiten Rachel Ashcrofts befassen sich mit dem Wesen des modernen Menschen im Verhältnis zur natürlichen Welt und der Definition von Natürlichkeit. Ausgestellt werden Fotografien und Skulpturen aus drei Jahrzehnten als eine Installation.
